Week 1: Sharmaine Sharusan @SharTek

I am a Technology Integration Instructor for Everest College; I travel to different campuses here in the Pacific Northwest and provide training to instructors on the use of technology in their classrooms.

How do you plan to use the iPad:
I plan to use the iPad when I’m traveling to keep in touch with my home campus; it will be much more portable than my Macbook. I’m sure I’ll develop other uses as I use the iPad more, but for now that’s what I’m looking forward to doing with it.

Week 2: Stephanie Dulmage @stephe1234

I currently teach first grade in West Bloomfield Schools, Michigan. I have been an educator in this district for 25 years and worked with first graders for my entire career. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am a teacher leader, facilitator of our IC team, the building school improvement chair, and a member of the district school improvement leadership team. I am a passionate educator and learner that is driven to transform the learning in my classroom with educational technology, project-based learning, and opportunities to collaborate, connect, and communicate “outside” of the school walls. My first graders actively blog on Edmodo, Twiducate, and Kidblog.

How do you plan to use the iPad:
I plan to use the iPad to increase the Skyping opportunities in my classroom, use the educational apps to extend and differentiate learning, to have a mobile device to collect and track data, and to be a “model” for my colleagues and the school district on how to use technology to transform and deepen the learning experience of my students.

Week 3: Jeremy Macdonald @MrMacnology

Jeremy Macdonald. I love being a husband and father. I am a 5th grade teacher and Technology Coach at Mills Elementary in Klamath Falls, OR. My passion for learning drives my need to stay connected and my obsession with technology. When the rare occasion occurs, I love to golf and talk sports.

How do you plan to use the iPad:
With my 5th graders and my family.

Week 4: Larry Fliegelman @fliegs

Larry Fliegelman has been an elementary principal, middle school assistant principal, and middle school social studies teacher for the last 14 years. Larry tweets at @fliegs and blogs at the Principal’s Point of View http://principalspov.blogspot.com.

How do you plan to use the iPad:
I will use the iPad with my first grade writing groups.

Week 5: Dean Phillips @caddiscaster

Middle School Teacher of 15 Years. Currently a Regional Technologist in Montana. Enjoy learning about and discussing tech integration strategies.

How do you plan to use the iPad:
Working collaboratively to use the iPad and Google docs/forms for classroom walkthrough data collection devices…
