I have really never made a video before. I didnt edit, I didnt think. I read that it had to be done by 11:11 and I jumped on it at 10:45 by asking students how I use technology to help them learn. I realized that everything they said were things that I had learned at ITSC. I’d love to go again and learn what’s new, it’s been a few years!
I’d rather go to ITSC than win a free ipad!!!!

What happened to your video? We wanted to watch it.

I made this video a few weeks after the last conference. It was so exciting to have new strategies and resources that I could use in my classroom the first day back to class. Since then, besides the examples given in the video, my students have piloted using a smart board and many other websites and programs into their daily classwork. This fall they created a 30 minute “healthy kids” tv show using computer animation, skits and science demonstrations to help teach other kids the importance of exercise, nutrition and safety. My third graders have really benefitted from the use of technology in the classroom since the last ITSC conference and I hope that I get to attend and learn more this year!
Not sure if the video was included. Here it is…

Okay this is my first attempt at a common craft copycat. I didn’t see this promo until 10:30 pm, so first try, not much editing, but my heart it is in it. Go Julie!
